'Bockety', my most recent book, is a memoir which tells of my growing up in Dublin, Ireland on the banks of the Grand Canal and in Ranelagh in the 1950s. 'Bockety' is published by Brandon, Co. Kerry, Ireland.
I have written a one-man show based on this book and had a most enjoyable time in Ireland performing it at the Ranelagh Arts Festival in September 2007.
'The Undergardeners' is a book for young people published by Orca Books, Victoria, BC, Canada. This is the first in a series about a boy, nicknamed Mouse because he is small for his age, and his adventures with the people and animals he discovers in the secret world which is situated below his back garden –and far, far beyond.
